With the entry of the Slovak Republic into the European Union, several legislative regulations were adopted in the field of water management, which moved wastewater treatment to a qualitatively higher level. By creating stricter and more innovative conditions for wastewater management, the water management had to proceed with the reconstruction and intensification of technologies of existing treatment plants as well as the construction of new ones, which became and still is one of the decisive activities in environmental protection in our country.

EPRA was founded to provide professional and expert services in the field of water management. EPRA is dedicated to optimizing treatment technologies as well as the operation of municipal and industrial wastewater treatment plants, thereby contributing to improving surface water quality and environmental protection.
